Grace as the Foundation
Salvation is the free gift of God's grace, given through Jesus Christ. Nothing we do can earn it, and nothing we fail to do can cancel it. Grace is the soil in which our faith takes root.
Believers can rest assured in God's promises. This assurance frees us from fear and striving, empowering us to serve boldly and joyfully.
Scripture as Our Guide
Scripture is the living Word of God, sufficient to guide our community. We interpret it through the lends of Christ's love, humility, and service, seeking wisdom not only in words but in lived experience.
Faith Alive Through Works
Faith without works is dead. True Faith expresses itself in acts of love, mercy, and service. Works are not the cause of Salvation but its fruit, is evidence of God's grace alive in us.
God’s Children and the Kingdom
We believe all people are created in God’s image and loved as His children. All are welcome in His family and invited to experience His grace. Yet we affirm that eternal life and entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven come only through accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (John 14:6; 1 John 5:11–12). In Christ, God’s universal love finds its fulfillment, and His invitation becomes salvation.
Service as Worship
We believe that worship is not only confined to songs or sermons but is also expressed in feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, caring for creation, and serving one another. Service is our offering, our liturgy, and our joy.
Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
Service Without Payment
We believe that the work of God is not a career, but a calling.
We reject the idea that payment should be required to provide God’s service, for the Gospel is freely given and must be freely shared. We believe ministry is a community effort, where each person contributes time, gifts, and resources out of love, not obligation or profit. We affirm that true service flows from grace, not from wages, and that the church is strengthened when all participate together in humility and joy. We believe leaders are servants, not employees, and that the body of Christ thrives when service is offered as worship, not as commerce.
Doing God's work. Period.
We reject empty rituals and transactional religion. Our faith is lived in action, grounded in grace, and expressed through love. We are misfits by God's design, shining bright by doing God's work-period.
Rejection of Politics in the Church
We believe that the Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not to serve as a platform for political agendas. Our mission is to unite people under the lordship of Christ, transcending divisions of party, ideology, or worldly power. We reject the use of the pulpit for partisan purposes and affirm that our allegiance is to the Kingdom of God alone. In all things, we seek to embody Christ’s love, justice, and mercy without entanglement in political campaigns or endorsements.
Affirmation of Marriage
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant, established by God, between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6). This union reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church and is designed for companionship, faithfulness, and the nurturing of family. We affirm this biblical definition of marriage as central to God’s design for human flourishing and commit to uphold it in our teaching, practice, and community life.
Baptism
We believe that baptism is a sacred act of obedience to Jesus Christ, a public declaration of faith that symbolizes repentance, cleansing, and new life in Him. It is an outward sign of God’s saving grace, representing our union with Christ in His death and resurrection, and a joyful celebration where the community welcomes believers into the family of faith.
The Holy Trinity
We believe in the Holy Trinity: one God revealed in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is our Creator, the Son is our Redeemer, and the Spirit is our Sustainer. Together they are perfectly united, eternal, and equal, working in harmony to bring salvation, guidance, and life to all who believe.
