Founder
Desiree graduated in August from Southwestern College with an associate degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. She is a certified peer support specialist for individuals with co-occurring disorders and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Education, including an elementary teaching credential, with an expected graduation in 2027. Additionally, she is progressing toward certification as a Christian counselor.
Partner in Ministry
Jaycee is attending Southwestern College, majoring in Fire Science. Jaycee has personally been working on a transformative plan to support felons in overcoming their pasts and gaining access to opportunities such as firefighter academies—offering a fresh start forged in fire. Jaycee is also progressing towards a certification as a Christian Wellness Coach.
Treasurer
Pierre Westbrooks serves Shyne Bryte Ministries as the treasurer. He has been a part of the journey since the beginning. Pierre was a business owner, where he specialized in security. Pierre is currently enrolled in school pursuing a degree in business.
Secretary
Barbara Solseth serves Shyne Bryte Ministries as the secretary. Barbara is a faithful servant of Christ, not only helping at SBM but also serving in women's group in her home church. Barbara graduated in 1978 with a Law Degree from California Western Law School. Barbara worked as a contract negotiator until she retired.
