My name is Destiny Jones, and I am communicating about how the Misfit food ministry, how Desiree and her Husband Jaycee have really blessed me and the community here where I live at, Parker Kier Apartments. They have blessed us by transporting the food here, making the food presentable, that says a lot. The people here are so happy here that they knock on my door asking when the next meal will be delivered. Some have agreed to take photos for Desiree and her husband to see their blessing being received. I know that they have touched so many hearts- they definitely have touched mine. Most of the people here are disabled, they have mental issues, physical and emotional/psychological issues. Myself, I am disabled and I really appreciate the blessings and we are forever grateful. Join our Misfit Magic Makers
The Misfit Magic Makers are a joyful, guardian angel inspired–style outreach program of Shyne Bryte Ministries. Each year, the ministry “sprinkles a little misfit magic” by choosing a child in need and surrounding them with love, laughter, and practical support. From school supplies to Christmas presents, and from birthday surprises to everyday encouragement, the Magic Makers step in like whimsical guardians—meeting needs in creative, colorful ways that remind kids they are seen, valued, and celebrated.This initiative isn’t about charity alone; it’s about community. Sponsors and volunteers become part of the magic, helping children feel like they belong to a family of misfits who believe in turning challenges into joy. With humor, inclusivity, and a dash of sparkle, the Misfit Magic Makers embody the ministry’s mission: doing God’s work, period—by making sure no child feels left out of the story.
